NAGDILAAB Foundation, Inc., (NFI) as part of its Peace and Security component, gathered 75 youth from its four (4) Peace Education Partner-Schools from October 28-30 of this year at Claret School of Maluso in a Youth Peace Camp 2017.
Participating Partner-Schools were Upper Bato-Bato National High School in Akbar Municipality, Concepcion National High School in Matarling, Lantawan Municipality, Atong-Atong National High School in Atong-Atong, Lantawan Municipality, Tairan National High School in Tairan Lantawan Municipality, and Maluso National High School in Maluso Municipality catering Barangays Upper Portholland, Shipyard Tabuk and Townsite),
According to the Peace Education Coordinator, Mr. Arvin Sarao Debide, “the purpose of the Youth EPeace Camp 2017 is to build and strenghten the awareness of the youth by discussing timely issues on violent extremism, adult reproductive health: premarital sex and teenage pregnancy at the same time inspiring the youth to be more functional and active through the topic Youth Empowerment. (sic)”
NFI is a member-organization of ZABIDA, aims to improve the capability of rural and urban communities to be active partners in development. It will provide technical assistance and complement existing systems in the delivery of basic services. more here: http://localhost:8080/zabida_new/nfi/
