Campo Vida Agricultural Learning Center was awarded by the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Training Institute IX (DA-ATI IX)  as an accredited Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) on November 4, 2022,  at Malagutay, Zamboanga City.

ATI Nueve headed by Ms Alicia Rose D. Nebreja Center Director and LSA Point Person Doc. Gerry R. Pagarigan, Senior Agriculturist awarded the Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) Certificate and signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Zamboanga-Basilan Integrated Development Alliance Inc. (ZABIDA) as represented by its president, Dr. Grace J Rebollos and executive director Ms Esperancita Hupida. This momentous event was witnessed and supported by City Agriculturist Ms. Carmencita Sanchez, Philippine Coconut Authority Acting Division Chief I, Arsenio G. Laput, and the focal staff and management of Campo Vida: Ms Raquel Divino, Muneer Hinay, Jesamine Pollisco, and Bonny Jimenez.

Ms Nebreja of DA-ATI IX noted that this is only the start of a good partnership with ZABIDA and that they are opening windows of opportunities for Campo Vida. She expressed that Campo Vida is a potential Extension Service Provider (ESP) and that after 1 year of operation it can hopefully be certified to implement extension activities in behalf of the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute.

Campo Vida Agricultural Learning Center is a facility that is run by ZABIDA as a community enterprise and agri- based technology hub located at Purok 4 Calle Sta. Veronica, Barangay Malagutay, Zamboanga City, established in July 2021 with the support of AECID and Manos Unidas under the Convenio project. Harnessing the learned expertise of the many agricultural interventions of the project, Campo Vida is a learning space for permaculture and sustainable agriculture as a way of addressing food security needs.
