Barangay Malagutay, as led and represented by Hon. Roel Cabugza, Punong Barangay, received five (5) Hand-held Radios last 13 July 2021 in a Logistical Support Turn-Over activity at the ZABIDA Centro de Paz y Desarollo. The Hand-held radios were part of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Project Proposal that will serve as an Early Warning Device to strengthen Barangay Disaster Response and Peace and Security Response. As a counterpart, the Barangay also procured and provided additional 5 units of Portable Radios including Permits, Licenses for the unit and Radio Operators.

Hon. Cabugza was accompanied by the project co-proponent Mr. Sonio Dahap, Farmers Association Representative and Kagawad Jeffrey Cabugza, BDRRMC Focal Person. Representing ZABIDA was its President, Dr. Grace Jimeno-Rebollos. Said activity was Facilitated by the ZABIDA-Participatory Governance component led by Mr. Khamar Amsain, Program Coordinator together with the DRR Project Staff Chariza Gregorio.
